Expert Paediatric Care for Every Childhood Condition

👶

Prematurity

Babies born before 37 weeks require specialist neonatal care. Our Level-3 NICU supports babies from 24 weeks gestation with the most advanced ventilation and nutrition support.

Signs: Premature birth, low birth weight, breathing difficulty, feeding challenges

🟡

Neonatal Jaundice

Common in newborns — most cases resolve with phototherapy. Our NICU team identifies pathological jaundice early and manages it to prevent complications.

Signs: Yellow skin/eyes in the first week of life

🌡️

Fever & Infections

Viral and bacterial infections are the most common reason for paediatric consultations. We provide rapid diagnostic and evidence-based treatment to shorten illness and prevent complications.

Signs: Fever, cough, cold, ear pain, throat pain, rashes, diarrhoea

📏

Growth Disorders

Stunting, failure to thrive and obesity are all growth concerns we evaluate using WHO growth charts, nutrition assessment and hormonal screening if needed.

Signs: Below-average height/weight, rapid weight gain, slow growth

🧠

Developmental Delay

Early identification of speech, motor or social delays allows timely intervention — the earlier, the better. We use standardised developmental assessment tools.

Signs: Delayed walking, talking, or social engagement; regression of milestones

💨

Asthma & Allergies

Childhood asthma is the most common chronic disease in Indian children. We provide complete pulmonary assessment, inhaler training and allergen avoidance guidance.

Signs: Recurrent wheeze, cough at night, shortness of breath, exercise intolerance

👂

Ear Infections (AOM)

Acute otitis media is the second most common childhood infection. Prompt treatment prevents hearing loss and recurrence.

Signs: Ear pain, fever, pulling at ears, reduced hearing, discharge

🥗

Nutritional Deficiencies

Iron deficiency, Vitamin D deficiency and protein-energy malnutrition are common and significantly impact brain development and immunity.

Signs: Pallor, fatigue, slow growth, frequent illness, poor concentration

🌸

Paediatric Skin Conditions

Eczema, nappy rash, ringworm, chickenpox and impetigo are common childhood skin conditions we diagnose and treat promptly.

Signs: Rashes, dry or itchy skin, blisters, scaling, spots

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 NICU?
Level-3 NICU is the highest level — it can care for any premature baby regardless of gestational age or birth weight. We have full mechanical ventilation, high-frequency oscillation, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), hypothermia therapy and 24×7 neonatologist cover. Most hospitals in AP only have Level-1 or Level-2.
My baby was born at 28 weeks — what does the NICU stay look like?
Babies born at 28 weeks typically spend 10–12 weeks in the NICU. The journey includes ventilation support (usually weaned within 2–3 weeks), kangaroo mother care as soon as stable, gradual introduction of breast milk via feeding tube, and developmental care to minimise sensory stress. We involve parents at every step.
How often should my child visit a paediatrician?
In the first year: before discharge, then at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 months. After that: annually unless sick. These visits are for growth monitoring, development assessment and vaccinations — not just when something is wrong.
Which vaccines do you provide and what is the cost?
We provide the complete IAP 2024 schedule — all vaccines from birth through age 12+. Most government-schedule vaccines are available at low cost. Optional vaccines (Rotavirus, PCV, Varicella, Hepatitis A) incur additional costs. Please call us for the current price list.
My 2-year-old is not talking. Should I be worried?
By 2 years, children should have at least 50 words and be combining 2 words ('more milk', 'daddy go'). If your child has fewer than 50 words or no word combinations, a developmental assessment is recommended — not to alarm, but because early speech therapy has excellent outcomes. Book a developmental check today.
What should I do if my child has a febrile seizure?
Stay calm — febrile seizures are frightening but rarely dangerous. Place the child on their side (recovery position), do not put anything in their mouth, time the seizure, and call emergency if it lasts more than 5 minutes. After the seizure ends, bring the child to us for evaluation. Most children outgrow febrile seizures by age 5.
